Computer assisted surgery launch

OMNI RK commissions a ORTHO PILOT, developed by B-Braun (Germany). This is a computer navigation system total knee and total hip replacement system. It is a new generation surgical tool developed to help surgeons install joint replacement implants accurately.

The Ortho Pilot is made up of two cameras scanning the surgical fields. Ortho Pilot helps the surgeon navigate allowing them to plan the steps much ahead thus bringing in accuracy which ensures better alignment and positioning of the implant. This results in minimal complication and less loss of blood.  The technology promotes a better gait while walking with long term benefits.
