Identify and act on changes in patient condition, making safe, timely decisions appropriate to the situation. Work with patients, the multi-disciplinary team and families to set realistic and achievable goals Plan and provide care interventions for patients in line with the needs and goals of the patient. ICU Management Hand over and takes over the patient and ward equipment and supply. In addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions, any other assignments given occasionally or on a daily basis by the immediate superior or Management Locations: VIZAG Experience: 10-15 Years Qualification: GNM/Bsc (N) JOB DESCRIPTION: 1.Overall management of Nursing Practice, nursing education and professional development.
Keep the ward neat and tidy. Maintain safety of the ward equipment. Prepare and checks ward supplies. Maintain records and reports assigned to her / him by the sister In-charge.
2.Accountable to oversee the development, and implementation of standards of patient care and standards of clinical practice.
3. Has overall responsibility for safe, comfortable and comprehensive nursing care of all the patients in the hospital.
4. Collaborates with Hospital administrative colleagues, doctors, and other health care personnel.. 4. 5.Ensure that adequate number of nursing staff is assigned to the respective departments in accordance with their experience and training.
6. Coordinate with various departments to contribute towards continuous nursing care and recommend improvements as and when necessary.
7. Organize and Conduct In-service Education programmes for all categories of nursing staff on nursing ethics, procedures, and hospital policies.
