Kidney Transplants

A kidney transplant is a better option than dialysis as it offers a better quality of life and is a permanent solution. A kidney transplant allows .a certain amount of freedom from diet restrictions. The patient will not have to visit dialysis and spend time in a lengthy dialysis procedure. Patients during dialysis have complaints like shortness of breath and loss of appetite. After a kidney transplant, the symptoms of a kidney disease will also subside as the serum creatinine levels will return to normal levels so patient experiences relief too.

Dialysis is done to sustain life, however, for a better quality of life, renal transplantation is suggested by most of the doctors. Transplants can be performed on living as well as cadaveric donors.
